A legitimate target?
NATO claimed that RTS was a "legitimate military target" because it broadcast "propaganda". Amnesty International characterized the attack as a war crime - the deliberate killing of civilians.
Justice that never came
No one responsible for this crime was brought to justice. Serbia's lawsuit against the NATO countries was rejected in 2004.
Remembrance
At the site of the struck building, a memorial plaque with the names of those who perished stands today.
