The Museum of Genocide Victims in Belgrade

The central institution for the study of the genocide against Serbs in the 20th century.

The Museum of Genocide Victims was founded in 1992 as an institution dedicated to researching and preserving the memory of the genocide against the Serbian people.

Mission

The museum collects documents, testimonies and material evidence of the genocide in the Independent State of Croatia, the crimes of the Second World War and the wars of the 1990s.

Permanent Exhibition

The exhibition covers Jasenovac, Jadovno and other execution sites, with photographs, documents and personal belongings of the victims.

Research

The museum maintains a database of victims, publishes scholarly works and organises conferences.
