NATO carries out a massive bombing of Priština. Missiles hit residential settlements. 19 civilians killed - Serbs and Albanians.

On 15 May 1999, NATO carried out the largest attack on Priština, killing 19 civilians - both Serbs and Albanians.

A city in flames

Several locations were bombed:

  • The Dragodan residential settlements
  • The city centre
  • Slatina Airport (a military target)
  • The industrial zone

Victims - a mixed population

Of the 19 victims:

  • 8 Albanians
  • 7 Serbs
  • 2 Roma
  • 2 Turks
The youngest victim: 3 years old, the oldest: 76 years old.

Albanians and Serbs killed together

Many Albanians, whom NATO was supposedly "protecting", were killed in these attacks. The irony of NATO's "humanitarian intervention".
